“With everything that’s going on with COVID-19, we see our local healthcare workers and restaurants are suffering a great deal and we are trying to do our part in helping the community,” said Jason Pérez, Tunes For a Minute co-founder.

Pérez, along with his partner Colin Ryan, are working with Waveform Audio, Pollyanna Brewing Company, Sneaker Heartz and other local groups to raise funds for the project.

The group hopes this will be the first of a series of benefit shows, according to Ryan.

All proceeds and donations to the event will be used to buy meals from local restaurants to serve to healthcare workers, assisting two beleaguered communities at once.

Donations can be made at the Concert for Caretakers page on GoFundMe.com.
