Chicago Sound Check is giving away free tickets and a merch pack for the Weekend Run Club album release show. Enter to win!
The Weekend Run Club combines the technical guitar stylings of alternative rock with the upbeat, dance feel of indie-pop music, powerful rock riffs and rich, evocative vocals. The band released its first single, “Holliday,” in 2018, followed closely by the release of its debut EP, “Okay For You.”
2020 marks a new wave of music from the group, starting with the new singles “Beck” and “Rhode Island” off the upcoming LP “Zoo,” a twelve-track escapade through themes of heartbreak, self-identity, grief and love.
The album release show will also spotlight fellow Chicago-area rising stars Violet Crime, August Hotel and Splits.
Prizes
One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) pair of tickets and a merch pack of one T-shirt from each band at the show.
