The alternative rock band Smashing Pumpkins, whose members leapt from Chicago rockers into national legends with 1993’s “Siamese Dream,” has reunited three-quarters of the band’s founding lineup for its “Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour.” Start the week off right with Billy Corgan, who grew up in Glendale Heights, along with James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin and all their accompanying spectacle when they play two nights at the United Center. 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 13 and 14, at United Center, 1901 W.
